Karma Thoughts

Thoughts on our
social development, on solidarity,

the unconditional basic income and karma.

Will be updated every now and then, by the way ;)

Values and appreciation - How the current crises highlight problems

For some time now we have been confronted with crises and problems that highlight societal issues. Starting with the pandemic and its strong social restrictions, the Ukraine conflict that has been going on for far too long and its resulting consequences of inflation and energy crisis, and now the banking crisis(es) that have recently been added to the list.
They cost us all strength. For some perhaps more on an emotional-psychic level, for others also on an economic level. And they bring topics like "social justice" once again more to the surface.
To be honest, the Corona pandemic with all its restrictions have brought me to my existential limit. But instead of a time of recovery opening up, as an entrepreneur I am confronted once again with economically challenging issues such as the energy crisis and inflation.
I have given a lot of thought to this. Of course, also about adjusting my prices upwards accordingly, as is currently happening everywhere. But this general, relative price increase does not correspond to my value conception of a fair social structure. In my eyes, it would only be a symptom fight, not a solution to the problem.
Therefore there is no general price increase with me, but a change of the price structure in general:

For some time now we have been confronted with crises and problems that highlight societal issues. Starting with the pandemic and its strong social restrictions, the Ukraine conflict that has been going on for far too long and its
I am finally realizing a heart's desire that I have been carrying in me for some time (even for several years): to break through the rigid principle of the market economy as it has developed and to open the space for more (personal) responsibility and appreciation for each other.
Therefore, from now on, I no longer offer fixed prices, but the choice of a contribution at your own discretion. With this I hope for a more conscious appreciation for my work, which however takes into account the economic background of my participant.
This is my answer to inflation.
I hope to make a contribution for more justice. For you AND for me.

Thoughts on unconditional basic income:

Criticized by some as "a way to support laziness," celebrated by idealists as "a way to develop potential." The unconditional basic income.

Anyone who is employed in a crisis-proof job (does that still exist?) may be able to rationally comprehend the significance of this topic for our society, but still not be able to experience the explosive nature of it firsthand.

I can. After 2.5 years of crisis, which has also threatened me economically and still does, I can say: a BGE would be absolutely necessary!

Why? Because in my eyes it is mainly about "appreciation of work" and in the broadest sense also about the dignity of each one of us!

I experience the great privilege to live and shape my profession out of a literal sense of "vocation". For this I give gladly much of my strength and (heart) energy. But if the circumstances on the outside provide for an insecurity of my existential security as an entrepreneur, it would be time to counteract at this point.

This is where the unconditional basic income could develop its full potential:

In the basic protection of entrepreneurial activity, and thus in the validation of one's own work. Independent of crises! It would free me, and many others, from the dependence of these external circumstances. Secure my existence, reduce my worries in this regard.

I personally hope very much that the BGE will come. In my eyes, it would only be consistent in our development towards a strong, autonomous society in which commitment and entrepreneurship are valued.

But, until that happens, I want to work in my own way for the recovery of appreciation: By designing a flexible pricing system and thus realizing solidarity in the smallest social circle.

Let's see, maybe this circle will draw even bigger circles...! <3

Karma or the law of attraction

Karma may sound to some like an Indian "dogma", a principle of faith. In the end "karma" is nothing else than the law of "cause and effect" or in other words: "As it calls into the forest, so it resounds out again". This phenomenon is also becoming more and more known on a scientific level: in quantum physics, this principle is called the "law of resonance". For the most part, we attract into our lives what we are convinced of and what we feel and "feel" to be true.

With my flexible pricing system I make it possible that from a certain value you give to my work, I pass on a proportionate amount to a charitable organization. I make this quite zeinah and send you then also a receipt of this passing on. This way your (material) energy and appreciation flows further into an area that also benefits from support. In this way, good deeds are distributed and good deeds are passed on. I find this thought so beautiful that it had to become part of my flexible karma price system. :)

One's own personal well-being in dealing with money

And, even though on the outside we have been confronted with advertising/beliefs of limitation in recent years and lately ("stinginess is cool" or similar) I would like to conclude by inviting you to feel into two situations:
How does it feel to "hold back" something, a secret for example, or to feel that something is scarce, money for example, or we are convinced we need to save?
And: on the other hand, how does it feel to be generous, giving and open-hearted? I'm sure you remember a situation where you've experienced both. I feel much better when I am allowed to share things, experiences, love, etc. And if I get to make the decision about it myself.... all the better! Because it feels soo good! So connected, so in the loop with the world.
How is it with you?

With all these considerations, I would like to encourage you to think. To question what has been thought so far, to possibly break down old beliefs and, in the best case, to initiate a "new way of thinking" and to motivate and inspire to go new ways, to think new possibilities. In the individual and connected with it also in the whole, as a society. Because I think, in the future we all continue to go even more together ONE way! And that in solidarity and with joint strength. Even more so after what we have experienced in the past 3 years.
Many thanks to all who have already taken this path! I am looking forward to growing together and to much personal growth! Because: We are many!
